Illusion represents a timeless fusion of beauty, simplicity, and functionality. “Once, while passing a café in Copenhagen, I noticed round tables draped with white tablecloths. Each square cloth nearly grazed the floor. I paused to take a few photographs. Later, at a plastic workshop, I presented the image and inquired about the feasibility of crafting such an object in plastic. Initially, the response was negative. Nonetheless, I persisted, and after several months, some prototypes were ready. The outcome was Illusion, a remarkable embodiment of Symbolic Functionalism, which has garnered overwhelmingly positive acclaim from both media and consumers,” John Brauer explains.
